Jordan Pacheco Hits Broken Bat Home Run (Video)

Colorado Rockies triple-A catcher Jordan Pacheco isn’t much of a power hitter. The 25-year-old from New Mexico only has two home runs on the season and 25 in 1,571 career minor league at-bats. That didn’t stop him from doing the improbable Friday, cracking a two-run home run despite breaking his bat. Check out this video of Jordan Pacheco’s broken bat home run:

Knowing that Pacheco isn’t a big power hitter, it’s really tough to explain this home run. How can a guy splinter his bat yet manage to hit the ball 400 feet? As they used to say in the lollipop commercials, the world may never find out.
