Jose Bautista brought us the greatest bat flip in baseball history during his team’s series-clinching win over the Texas Rangers Wednesday night, and one fan wasted no time preserving the moment in tattoo form.
On Thursday, Bautista reposted an Instagram photo from a Toronto tattoo artist whose latest artwork showed Joey Bats tossing his lumber aside after blasting a 3-run homer.
Bautista said the tattoo is one of the craziest things he has ever seen.
“I have heard and seen some crazy stuff in the last 24 hours but this one takes the prize home!! #ImOnSomeonesBodyForever,” he wrote.
Is the tattoo a bit nutty? Sure is, but we have seen enough insane athlete tribute tattoos over the years to know that we should expect anything and everything. Just don’t let this Rangers reliever see the ink.
