Jose Fernandez boat crash photos show the high speeds
Jose Fernandez and two friends tragically died in a boating accident early Sunday morning off the coast of Florida. Photos of their boat crash give you an idea of the high speed at which they were traveling because you can see just how bad the wreck was.
Fernandez was not driving the boat when it hit a jetty at the high speed.
“It does appear that speed was involved due to the impact and the severity of it. It does appear that they were coming at full-speed when they encountered the jetty,” a coast guard official said.
