Report: Jose Reyes arrested for domestic violence
Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested on charges of domestic violence in Hawaii on Halloween, according to a report.
Hawaii News Now says the four-time All-Star was staying at the Four Seasons in Maui when he got into a fight with his wife. The KHNL report says the two were arguing in their room. His wife reportedly accuses him of grabbing her off the bed and shoving her. She also told police he grabbed her throat and shoved her into a balcony door.
Police came to the hotel and arrested Reyes for abuse. The 32-year-old shortstop’s wife had injuries to her thigh, neck and wrist and was taken to the ER, according to KHNL.
Reyes is out on bail.
