Kris Bryant went swimming with sharks (Video)
With spring training rapidly approaching, there isn’t much vacation time left for Major League Baseball players. During one of his last remaining days, a member of the Cubs got up close and personal with a few predators.
On Thursday, Kris Bryant shared some video footage he took while underwater with sharks swimming around the cage he was in.
This is something that has been on my bucket list for a little while now and watching this confirms that I need to make it happen sooner rather than later.
The full squad for the Cubs is due to report for spring training on February. At that point, Bryant will knock the rust off and begin working towards building on a impressive first full season in the majors. Bryant took home the Rookie of the Year Award, earned a spot on the National League all-star team, and helped the Cubs make the playoffs for the first time since 2008. During the regular season, Bryant hit .275 with 26 home runs, 31 doubles, 99 runs batted in, and 13 stolen bases.
