One of the top college prospects in the country has flipped his commitment from one SEC rival to another.
Caleb Cunningham, a 5-star wide receiver from Ackerman, Miss., announced on Wednesday that he has flipped his commitment from Alabama to Ole Miss. He confirmed the news by writing “Home is Home!” on social media.

Cunningham is ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 16 overall prospect in the country for the 2025, according to 247Sports. He committed to Alabama in July and had some very strong comments about why he chose the Crimson Tide.
Alabama and Ole Miss are having similar seasons, and both teams remain very much in the College Football Playoff Hunt. Both entered the year ranked in the top 10 nationally and lost two games before getting back on track in recent weeks.
Ole Miss is coming off one of their biggest wins in recent program history. They defeated No. 3 Georgia last week, and the way their fans celebrated led to a significant punishment from the SEC.
