Livvy Dunne’s attempt at taking batting practice against her boyfriend went about as well as one would expect it to.

Dunne shared video of herself standing in against Paul Skenes, who certainly appeared to be throwing at full strength. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher throws one pitch in the video, and Dunne essentially stands frozen in what she called the “ultimate trust test.”

Skenes is, of course, one of the nastiest pitchers in baseball. There are professional hitters who do not stand much of a chance against him, so there is no shame in Dunne being a bit overwhelmed here. She doesn’t necessarily look like she was expecting to make contact anyway.

Skenes and Dunne are one of the leading sports power couples these days, and have even done joint Halloween costumes before. Skenes probably would not fare much better trying to do gymnastics, so the two can call it even.

While Skenes is still with the Pittsburgh Pirates, there have been consistent rumors about him joining another team.
