Mariano Rivera retirement gifts: A look at what he received
The Mets gave Rivera a fire call box and fire hose nozzle for being a great reliever who can put out the fire. The gifts were presented to him before the second game of the Subway Series in May. Rivera also threw out the first pitch to Mets legendary closer John Franco prior to a game:

And of course the New York Yankees went all-out honoring their closer on Sunday.

They brought back several of his teammates and played a great video tribute:
And of course, the greatest honor of all, they retired his jersey and gave him a spot in Monument Park along with the other franchise greats:
The Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners all made donations to Rivera’s charity but did not present him with a specific gift.
