Two members of the 2019 Baseball Hall of Fame class will be entering Cooperstown without a logo on their cap.
Brandy Halladay, the wife of former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay, said at a news conference on Wednesday that her late husband will not be featured in the Hall of Fame wearing the cap of either franchise he played for during his career. On Friday, fellow 2019 inductee Mike Mussina announced that he is taking the same approach.

Mussina spent his first 10 seasons with the Orioles, and his five All-Star appearances came when he played in Baltimore. He then spent the final eight years of his career with the Yankees, winning 20 games for the first time in his final season. You can understand why he, like the Halladay family, would not want to make a choice between the two teams.
