Pete Alonso goes shirtless after game-winning walk-off walk
Going shirtless has become a walk-off tradition for the New York Mets this season, and it was all started by Pete Alonso. On Friday night, it was Alonso’s turn to go shirtless.
The Mets rookie walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th in a 4-4 game to help his team beat the Philadelphia Phillies.

Alonso got to show off his sexy body during his postgame interview with SNY. He was asked how it felt to be on the receiving end of having his shirt ripped off.
“Absolutely, this is awesome!” Alonso said.
Alonso went 1-for-4 with the walk, two RBIs and three strikeouts. He has an NL rookie record 45 home runs and a .958 OPS this offseason.
