Pirates fan goes viral for his custom jersey at Paul Skenes’ debut
Paul Skenes made his highly anticipated Major League Baseball debut on Saturday night, and one Pittsburgh Pirates fan had a very saucy way of celebrating the occasion.
A fan at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pa., went viral for the custom jersey he wore to Skenes’ first MLB start. The jersey had the name “Dunne” on it with No. 69.

The name on the jersey was a reference to Skenes’ girlfriend Livvy Dunne, who is an extremely popular LSU gymnast. Those who have seen her know why fans love her.
As for the No. 69, well, we can’t help you with that one.
Skenes, who was the No. 1 overall draft pick out of LSU in 2023, pitched 4 innings in Pittsburgh’s 10-9 win over the Cubs. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits while striking out 7 and walking 2. Pirates fans were not at all pleased with the way manager Derek Shelton handled Skenes’ debut.
