Watch: Roger Clemens still pitching filthy stuff at Texas alumni game
Even at 56, Roger Clemens can still bring it.
The 7-time Cy Young Award winner pitched on Saturday at Texas’ alumni game. The former Longhorn, who was joined by two of his sons, was throwing in the mid-80s, according to Maximized Baseball. They say his curve and splitter still were sharp. Don’t believe them? They have video proof. Check out the filthy break on this curve on the outside corner:
A look at @rogerclemens at the @TexasBaseball Alumni game. Sat 84-85 and still spun the curveball well in upper 70s and the splitter was diving. A possible @FlatgroundApp comeback? pic.twitter.com/T8OIPJx8CR

The Rocket wore his Red Sox jersey while pitching. His sons Kacy and Kody wore Blue Jays and Tigers jerseys, representing the organizations for whom they currently play.

Son Kacy was in the news this week after he filed a lawsuit against a Texas bar where he says he was assaulted.
Considering he was able to pitch in MLB until he was 44, it’s not a big surprise that he still looks good 12 years later. That’s why he’s one of the greatest.
