Ross Stripling seems happy about trade to Angels falling through
Ross Stripling is not heading to Anaheim after all, and he seems pretty pleased about it.
The Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, who was slated to go to the Los Angeles Angels along with teammate Joc Pederson as part of the Dodgers’ Mookie Betts blockbuster, instead saw that part of the deal fall through on Sunday.
In response, Stripling tweeted a GIF of himself making an excited gesture on the basepaths before promptly deleting the post.
This tweet (GIF) by Stripling has since been deleted. My guess is he and Joc are still on the move. pic.twitter.com/2U3dD48cAr

For those that missed it, Stripling quote tweeted Rosenthal’s “no trade” tweet with this. It has since been deleted. pic.twitter.com/ovAWehEkK5

I guess Ross Stripling didn't want to go to the Angels. https://t.co/a6q9a9OvfW

The former All-Star Stripling, who posted a 3.47 ERA last season, was drafted by the Dodgers in 2012 and has spent his entire MLB career with them. He could still be traded though as the team seeks added financial flexibility.
Many were upset about how the failed trade to the Angels played out, but Stripling obviously is not one of them.
