Ryan Braun lands on DL again with back injury
Ryan Braun has dealt with numerous injuries throughout the season, and the latest is sending the star outfielder to the disabled list for the second time this year.
The Milwaukee Brewers announced on Sunday that Braun has been placed on the 10-day DL with a back strain.

Braun, 34, is having a down year at the plate. He’s managed 10 home runs and 35 RBI, but he is hitting just .235 with a .283 on-base percentage, .427 slugging percentage and .710 OPS. All of those marks would be the worst of Braun’s 11-plus MLB seasons.
Braun left a game with back tightness all the way back in April, so it’s possible the latest injury is related and one he just can’t seem to shake. The Brewers are currently 53-36 and in first place in the NL Central, so Braun’s down year hasn’t hurt them that much.
