Tim Tebow gets engaged to girlfriend Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
Tim Tebow is officially off the market.
Tebow confirmed over the summer that he is dating South African model Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, who was named Miss Universe in 2017. That was the first indication that things between the two had gotten serious, and they are now ready to tie the knot. On Thursday, Tebow revealed on Instagram that he proposed to Nel-Peters. She said yes.
“Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world,” Tebow wrote. “You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Nel-Peters actually is not the first Miss Universe that Tebow has dated, but the relationship clearly worked out much better this time. We already knew things were looking up for Tebow on the baseball diamond, and it sounds like the same is true for his personal life.
