Trevor Bauer says he’s ‘a lot happier’ since trade from Indians
Trevor Bauer was traded by a team in the middle of a pennant race and landed with an organization that won’t be playing in October. Apparently, he’s happy with that all the same.
Bauer told Fox Sports Ohio that he’s “a lot happier” since being traded from the Cleveland Indians to the Cincinnati Reds, adding that he “[doesn’t] really miss a whole lot about Cleveland.”

The move to Cincinnati certainly hasn’t helped Bauer’s numbers. After posting a 3.79 ERA in 24 starts with the Indians, The 28-year-old has a 7.62 ERA in five starts with the Reds. Bauer certainly seemed wistful about departing Cleveland, but maybe he’s just found himself really comfortable in his new home. It has not shown on the mound.
