Eduardo Nunez may have delivered the knockout punch in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night.
Nunez, a pinch-hitter, was batting against Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Alex Wood in the bottom of the 7th inning and had a 1-0 count with two on and two outs. He got a breaking ball low and in and golfed it out of Fenway Park, clearing the Green Monster in left to put Boston up 8-4.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts may lose sleep over his pitching moves in the inning. He pulled out Pedro Baez, who had struck out two and given an intentional walk, to bring in Wood. The first batter Wood faced took him deep to left. Ouch.
