The hitting prowess of George Springer was one of the main reasons the Houston Astros won the World Series last year, and the slugging center fielder is once again coming up huge for his team in the 2018 postseason.
Springer hit his second and third homers of the ALDS on Monday. The first, a 413-foot shot to left, tied the score at 1-1 in the 5th inning.

As of the second home run on Monday, Springer was 17-for-38 (.447) with eight homers and 10 RBI in his last nine playoff games. While he certainly isn’t the only player who has come up huge for the Astros in the ALDS, his production in the postseason has been nothing shy of remarkable.
