Watch: Rangers fan tries to catch foul ball with wallet, money goes flying everywhere

One Texas Rangers fan made it rain in a sense on Thursday night.

During the Rangers’ game against the Houston Astros in Texas, a man sitting in one of the front rows made an ill-advised attempt to catch a foul ball with his wallet in hand and sent money flying everywhere. To add insult to injury, he didn’t even come away with the baseball. Have a look:

Whether the fan had pulled out his wallet in anticipation of the Bud Light guy when the ball was hit or if he thought that using a glove was too mainstream, this clearly wasn’t his brightest moment.

At least the mishap wasn’t nearly as bad as this Dodger fan’s foul ball frolics.
