Chicago White Sox center fielder Adam Engel made a great catch to rob Greg Bird of a home run during Monday night’s game against the New York Yankees.
Bird was batting with runners on first and second and one out in the top of the fourth when he blasted a ball to center. Engel took his time going back and measured his leap, which was timed perfectly. He reached above the wall and made a catch to rob Bird of a 3-run home run.

Engel drew cheers from the home fans and applause from his teammates, who all appreciated his spectacular grab. Engel even waved his cap to the fans as his way of taking a bow for the great play.
