Yu Darvish is getting closer to a return for the Chicago Cubs.
Darvish is set to make a minor league rehab start on Sunday, according to The Athletic’s Patrick Mooney.

Darvish has been out since May due to his elbow. There have been plenty of questions about when he would return and very few answers. His recovery even created a controversy thanks to the remarks from Alex Rodriguez.
Though Darvish only has a 4.95 ERA this season, he had allowed just two runs over his two most recent outings. Chicago already has gotten a boost from Cole Hamels. Perhaps Darvish could also breathe some new life into the rotation.
