Time has flown by for Las Vegas Aces star center A’ja Wilson, and she felt it while talking to the media before Sunday’s 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.
After learning that Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles was born in 2003, Wilson was left in disbelief, making all sorts of faces over just how recently the WNBA rookie was born.
The 23-year-old Miles was born in 2003 and will not be 24 until January.

Miles tried to ease the harsh reality of Father Time for Wilson when she asked the four-time WNBA Most Valuable Player, “Aren’t you like 27?” But Wilson, seemingly flattered, quickly corrected her.
“No, I’m 29. Don’t do that,” Wilson said.
In less than two weeks, Wilson will celebrate her 30th birthday, as she will be celebrating another trip around the sun on August 8.
Wilson may be getting older, but she’s still at the top of her game and continues to be widely considered the best player in the WNBA. She entered the WNBA All-Star break leading the league with an average of 26.1 points per game, while shooting 53.3% from the field. The former South Carolina Gamecocks star is also fifth overall with 9.5 rebounds per outing.
