Stoudemire recently had a 33-point, 17-rebound outing in China but returned in part, sources say, because of the great distance away from his family, which remained in the States while he was playing for the Fujian Sturgeons

Stoudemire, who has also spent time in the BIG3 league since last playing in the NBA, has been making noise about a potential return to the league for a year and a half. It did not happen last year, and while nothing is impossible, the odds seem long that anyone would become interested now.
Stoudemire’s last NBA action came in 2015-16, when he played in 52 games for the Miami Heat.
