Andrew Bynum was booed by 76ers fans in his return to Philadelphia on Friday, just like we all expected.
Bynum was booed upon checking into the game as a member of the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers with around 3 minutes left in the first quarter. He was later met with “Bynum sucks” chants.
Sixers fans have a reputation for being notoriously tough on opponents, so you knew they would be hard on Bynum, who was a big acquisition by the team two seasons ago and never played in a game with them because of multiple knee problems. It doesn’t help that Bynum doesn’t seem to have any remorse for the way things went with his season in Philly.
