Anthony Bennett’s 19-point game gets the Wilt Chamberlain treatment
Anthony Bennett was a reach as a No. 1 overall pick and is looking like he may go down as one of the worst No. 1 picks of all time. But at least he’s shown some signs of positive life for the Cavs in the last few games.
On Tuesday, Bennett scored a career-high 19 points and added 10 rebounds for his first career double-double in the Cavs’ 109-99 win over the Sacramento Kings. He also went 3-for-3 on 3-pointers.
To commemorate the landmark moment for the rookie, @nbamemes created that funny Photoshop pic seen at the top. Of course, that pic is a take off on the classic image of Wilt Chamberlain following his 100-point game in 1962:
Congrats, Anthony, you’ve made it!
