Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is a man of his word.

The Timberwolves demolished the Denver Nuggets 115-70 in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. on Thursday.

Edwards had reportedly told a Nuggets locker room attendant after the Timberwolves lost Game 5 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colo. The 2-time All-Star had guaranteed that he would see the staffer again once his team returned for Game 7.

During his postgame press conference after Game 6, Edwards was asked if the exchange with the Nuggets attendant actually happened. The Timberwolves star confirmed the conversation and even revealed his rather colorful message to the arena worker. (Note – the video contains profanity)

“Hell yeah. They know. Y’all was in there. I told them. I said, ‘I’ll see y’all m—–f—–rs for Game 7,'” said Edwards.

Edwards was the driving force behind Minnesota’s emphatic statement win.

Edwards finished with a game-high 27 points on 8/17 shooting from the field with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. He was also constantly heard pushing his Timberwolves to maintain their aggression throughout the contest.

Edwards finished +46 during his time on the floor, which was by far the highest of any player who took the court on Thursday.
