Brad Stevens: Trade rumors are fun but mostly not true
Trade rumors and chatter surrounding the league helps to make following the NBA a fun, year-round passion for many, which is something Brad Stevens can relate to.
The Boston Celtics head coach spoke about trade talks on Wednesday and said he finds it all amusing, though he cautioned that most of it is not true.
Brad Stevens on rumors: “The NBA is what it is because of the scuttlebutt … it captivates everybody’s attention for 12 months out of the year. … The unfortunate part of being in the middle of it is you realize that most of it’s not true. But it’s still fun to listen to."

The Celtics are a team that’s featured prominently in rumors this week. Some scuttle has talked about them being a potential landing spot for Anthony Davis. There has also been talk about Kyrie Irving’s supposed uncertain future with the Celtics. We’re guessing that’s the type of story Stevens is talking about when he says some things aren’t true.
