Bronny James gets chasedown block in Lakers’ preseason game
Bronny James had some nice highlights in the Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif. on Friday night.
James came in to start the second quarter of the game and got to play half the quarter before being substituted out. Though he didn’t make a shot offensively, he got two blocks in his limited action.
James’ first block was of the chasedown variety on Nickeil Alexander-Walker:

Then a few minutes later, James blocked Rob Dillingham’s layup attempt.

The scouting report on James was that his defense was NBA-ready, but his offense needed a lot of work. That seemed evident on Friday night.
