The Houston Rockets are among the teams Carmelo Anthony is said to be interested in playing for if and when the Oklahoma City Thunder part ways with him, and it’s possible the star forward’s manager is already getting the ball rolling.
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin spotted Anthony’s business manager Bay Frazier sitting with Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni, point guard Chris Paul — who happens to be Carmelo’s close friend — and some of Houston’s front office members during a Summer League game in Las Vegas on Sunday.

That group could have been discussing which casinos and restaurants they like most in the area, but it’s probably safe to assume Anthony came up at some point.
Anthony is close friends with both Paul and LeBron James, which is why the Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers have been mentioned as possible teams he could play for. CP3 has supposedly been advocating for the Rockets to acquire Carmelo, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was campaigning for that during Sunday’s game.
