The Dallas Wings are certain to make Paige Bueckers the No. 1 overall pick in Monday’s WNBA Draft. They have been waiting for the moment for quite a while, judging by newly-released video of their draft lottery win.
On Saturday, the Wings posted video of general manager Curt Miller reacting as the team won the draft lottery and the right to select Bueckers. The lottery took place on Nov. 17, but the team only shared the video publicly on Saturday.
It is safe to say Miller was overjoyed by the outcome, as he jumps around his office while screaming in excitement.

Miller and the Wings are not going to say it yet, but they likely knew exactly where they were going with the pick as soon as they won it. Bueckers is the No. 1 prospect in the WNBA Draft by some distance, and it would be a shock if they went with anyone else.
Bueckers is riding high after winning a title at UConn in her final game for the team. As a senior, she led the Huskies by averaging 19.9 points per game.
