DeSean Jackson is apparently not a big fan of LeBron James. For whatever reason, the Washington Redskins wide receiver posted the photo you see above on Instagram Wednesday morning. It features a photo of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant with the following caption.
“Just remember … We didn’t have to team up with 2 of the top 5 picks in our own draft class along with the greatest 3-point shooter ever to finally win rings.”
We could get into how Kobe played with Shaquille O’Neal for his first few championships and how Jordan was always surrounded with quality players like Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, but do we even need to bother?
More importantly, what has Jackson ever won? He had a breakout season in 2013 and has a reputation for being a punk who slacks off when things don’t go his way. LeBron has won two championships, is going for a third and is still in the prime of his career. I’d bet my life savings he’ll accomplish more in a two-year span than Jackson will ever accomplish in his entire career.
Maybe DeSean should go hang with Paul George for a bit.
