Angel Reese had a night for the Atlanta Dream on Monday.
The three-time WNBA All-Star Reese delivered the goods for the Dream and helped her team notch a 107-95 victory over the Toronto Tempo at Gateway Center in College Park, Ga.
The former LSU Tigers star silenced her haters by scoring 20 points on 7/14 shooting from the field and even hit a 3-pointer, while recording a game-high 14 rebounds for another double-double.
Shortly after the game, the Dream announced that Reese had set a new franchise record for most double-doubles in a season with 22 so far in the 2026 WNBA campaign.
“With her latest double-double, Angel Reese has set a new Atlanta Dream single-season franchise record for double-doubles with 22. Alyssa Thomas holds the WNBA record with 28 in a season (2023),” Atlanta’s public relations account on X shared.
Reese is not exactly known as a bucket-getter, but she is as reliable as it gets when it comes to dominating the glass. Even then, she’s still been good for 15.8 points per game to go along with 11.9 rebounds per contest. She’s proven herself to be an easy fit for Atlanta in just her first season with the Dream, who acquired her in a trade with the Chicago Sky in April.
