Dwight Howard is making another international stop as he attempts to impress NBA teams.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Howard is planning to sign with Philippines professional team Strong Group, which competes in the annual Dubai International Basketball Championship.

The Dubai International Basketball Championship is a two-week international tournament. It will be held from Jan. 19 through Jan. 28 this year.
Howard spent last season with the Taoyuan Leopards of Taiwan’s T1 League. While the competition obviously was a lot weaker than the NBA, Howard wasted no time putting up some incredible stats with the team.
The 38-year-old Howard is still hoping to play in the NBA again. He drew interest from one notable team before the season but did not end up signing a deal.
Howard was still fairly productive during his last NBA season when he was with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021-22. He averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds while playing just 16.2 minutes per game.
