Dwyane Wade does not think LeBron James is sweating too much after coach JJ Redick called out the Los Angeles Lakers.
Wade was part of Amazon Prime’s NBA coverage on Friday, and the panel discussed how the Lakers might react to the critical comments Redick made publicly following Thursday’s loss. When asked how James should feel about Redick’s comments, Wade basically shrugged them off.
“LeBron is on his golf simulator right now. He’s working on getting that under. He’s not worried about this,” Wade said.

Wade’s comments are not out of nowhere. James recently enthused about his offseason golf plans.
Wade is probably poking some fun at his friend here, and he might have meant that nobody should be questioning James’ effort. On the other hand, it sounds almost like a slight, as if James might be tuning his coach out.
James has spent enough time in the NBA to demonstrate that he is not one to take it easy. He still contributed 18 points and five assists in that loss to Houston, but perhaps it’s true that Redick is taking that loss harder than he did.
