Fans called out Chennedy Carter via social media on Saturday for the way she bullied Caitlin Clark.

Clark and Carter were battling during the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky WNBA game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday. Carter was physical with Clark over the course of a few possessions, and the two appeared to exchange some trash talk. Then late in the third quarter, Carter knocked down Clark with a hip-check.

Fans saw the non-basketball move from Carter and called her out over it.

Hahaha Chennedy Carter @ChennedyCarter is officially the clown of the summer! I don’t mind hard tough play as long as it’s a basketball move this is jealous and pettiness https://t.co/gKXeJ3QfIw

If you’re defending Reese/Chennedy here then you’re just a Caitlin Clark hater.

This is bush league stuff. https://t.co/Lrs3WgSIv0

Chennedy Carter of Chicago Sky refused to answer questions about her blatant assault of Caitlin Clark.

Chennedy Carter is a thug!@chicagosky

The @WNBA needs to immediately suspend Carter and have her arrested.

Any company sponsoring Carter should drop her.…

Chennedy Carter needs to be fined and suspended for at least a few games. That kind of behavior shouldn't be tolerated, and the #WNBA refs need to do their job and throw her out of the game for that. https://t.co/Rv8UKKTGvZ

Carter was called for an away-from-the-play foul, but nothing more than that. The Fever won the game 71-70 though for their second victory of the season.

Carter’s play will do nothing to dispel the notion that many WNBA players are targeting the popular Clark, who is a rookie in the league.
