Hawks reportedly targeting Luka Doncic with No. 3 pick
Luka Doncic is a hot commodity entering Thursday’s NBA Draft.
The 19-year-old Slovenian is expected to be in attendance for the draft despite recently competing for Spanish team Real Madrid. He is likely to be a very high pick in the draft, and he could go No. 3 overall if the Atlanta Hawks have their way.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Tuesday that Doncic is at the forefront of Atlanta’s conversations.
Luka Doncic has moved to forefront of Atlanta's internal conversation on the third overall pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, league sources tell ESPN. Michigan State's Jaren Jackson and Duke's Marvin Bagley (if Kings pass on Bagley at No. 2) remain in contention for No. 3.

The Phoenix Suns (No. 1) and Sacramento Kings (No. 2) may have something to say about that first.
Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III and Jaren Jackson Jr. are among the players in contention to go in the top five, along with Doncic. In response to this report, the Dallas Mavericks may feel pressure to act.
