Isaiah Thomas may be facing potential discipline from the league for hitting Dennis Schroder in the head during the first half of Game 3 of the Hawks-Celtics playoff series on Friday, but the Celtics star does not think a penalty is deserved.
Thomas scored 42 points in Boston’s 111-103 win over Atlanta, but he had people buzzing for more reasons than his great play. Here is the video of Thomas smacking Schroder in the head:
Later in the possession, Schroder tried to get even, and both were hit with technical fouls.

The question is: Did Thomas hit Schroder on purpose? Thomas says it was unintentional:
Isaiah Thomas said he's not concerned about possible suspension: "I didn't mean to hit him in the head."

Nothing happened to Thomas during the game because the referee missed the play.

Despite Thomas’ optimism, former NBA VP Stu Jackson says he believes a suspension for Game 4 is coming:
Great performance by @Isaiah_Thomas however won't get chance to back it up in game 4 Predicting suspension for swing/contact @DennisMike93
