Nearly a year-and-a-half after being traded away by the Boston Celtics, Isaiah Thomas seems to have neither forgiven nor forgotten.

The Denver Nuggets guard, who has yet to play this season, liked a tweet this week ripping the Celtics for their handling of his situation. Here is the tweet, which is still featured at the top of the “Likes” section on his Twitter page and is only the 38th tweet that he has ever liked in nearly ten years on the site:

Boston dumped Isaiah Thomas after he ruined his hip carrying the Celtics in the Playoffs day’s after his sister died. Read that sentence again.

Kobe ripped his Achilles off the bone and the Lakers gave him 50 million dollars. Some companies take care of their stars.

As alluded to above, Thomas played through a major hip injury as well as the death of his sister in a car accident during Boston’s playoff run in 2017, only for them to trade him as part of the Kyrie Irving deal just months later. The injury is still affecting Thomas, who has played in just 32 games for three teams since the trade and is currently on a one-year minimum-salary deal.

The former All-Star was in the news again this week after one NBA superstar’s father criticized the Celtics for the way that they treated him. Thomas himself obviously still feels the same way as well.
