Isaiah Thomas questions why Jamal Crawford has not been signed yet
Isaiah Thomas is going to bat for his fellow Washington native.
In a post to Twitter on Saturday, the Denver Nuggets guard questioned why Jamal Crawford had not been signed yet, saying that it made “no sense.”
How is @JCrossover still a free agent? Makes no sense!

Crawford, who is close friends with Thomas and often links up with him at Seattle Pro-Am events, has this to say in response to the tweet.
-this " new" Nba I guess lol… all good!

Unfortunately for Crawford, who put up 10.3 points a game in 80 appearances for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, the lack of interest from NBA teams this summer is hardly surprising. At 38 years old, he is a static volume scorer who lacks efficiency and does minimal playmaking. Crawford is also a colossal liability on the other end of the floor, ranking 521st out of 521 players in defensive real plus-minus last season (per ESPN).
That being said though, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year Award winner has earned the respect of many during his 18 years in the Association, and the similarly-styled Thomas may be first and foremost in that category.
