James Harden liked Beyonce wearing his jersey on stage
There are few greater honors for an athlete than having a true superstar like Beyonce wear your jersey and number on stage. James Harden recognizes that.
Earlier this month, Beyonce wore a customized version of Harden’s Houston Rockets jersey made into a bathing suit for a performance. Harden commented about it on Instagram, giving his approval.
“Bey got too much swagger in that jersey!! @beyonce #MadeinAmerica #H-Tiinnnneeeee” he wrote.
Harden was further asked by SI for his response to Beyonce’s outfit, and his response/body language made it clear he liked it.

Harden approved. “I got so many tweets and pictures sent to my phone about that,” he says, chuckling.
He quickly changes tune, as if trying to deflect the attention. “She’s repping Houston, she’s from there. She’s just showing love back to where she’s from.” Still, that moment of discovery had to have been crazy for him, right? “Yeah,” Harden admits sheepishly. His grin, though fleeting, speaks volumes.
Harden can’t act too excited about the development considering he’s dating Khloe Kardashian and all, but there’s no shame here. That’s a huge honor for you, James. We’d be psyched too.
