Jared Dudley appears to troll Sixers after Game 1 win
Jared Dudley was savoring his team’s surprising Game 1 victory on Saturday.
Dudley and the Brooklyn Nets came into Philadelphia and stole the opening game of their Round 1 playoff series against the 76ers by the final of 111-102.
After the contest, Dudley took to Twitter to quote a lyric from the 2013 song “Tuscan Leather” by rapper Drake, a line that clowned “bench players talking like starters.”

It’s unclear who on the Sixers specifically Dudley was referring to, if anybody. But it’s worth noting that Sixers backup forward Mike Scott committed a hard foul on Dudley late in the fourth quarter with the game just about out of reach.

While the veteran Dudley is actually himself a bench player and finished with a mere four points on the afternoon, his team came away with the W, which is what matters. In any case though, this Philly-Brooklyn series already has the makings of some high drama, as we saw elsewhere in the arena on Saturday.
