While broadcasting Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Cavaliers and Warriors on Friday, TV analyst Jeff Van Gundy shared an incredible story about OJ Simpson.
According to Van Gundy, who was an assistant coach with the Knicks under Pat Riley in 1994, Riley ran into Al Cowlings at a car wash during the summer after the infamous 1994 white Bronco chase. Cowlings told Riley that the reason they were driving so slowly during the chase in 1994 was because Simpson wanted to hear the end of the NBA Finals game on the radio between the Rockets and Riley’s Knicks.

That … is mindblowing.
ABC/ESPN had reason to talk about OJ because they are promoting their “O.J.: Made in America” documentary that will air beginning on Saturday.
The latest story involving OJ — besides this one — suggested that he will one day confess to the murders of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.
