Jerry West: Stephen Curry ‘gets no calls’

Jerry West thinks the NBA is soft – except when it comes to Stephen Curry.

The Logo, who works as an executive for the Warriors, believes that today’s NBA isn’t physical and that refs call everything – but that Curry gets no calls.

West also believes today’s NBA is much less physical than when he played, plus thoughts on Steph if he played then: pic.twitter.com/Dqo86kRtRu

I’m not sure how those things work together. Perhaps it’s West’s way of agreeing with some former players that Curry would be decked a few times back in the day and thus would go to the line more. Still, if everything is called in today’s NBA, why doesn’t Curry get any in West’s mind?

Maybe West is just looking out for successful players, just as he was when he made these comments about another of the league’s stars. Of course, he also works for Curry’s team, so it may just be that talking.
