John Wall is considering undergoing season-ending surgery on his left heel, according to a report.
Wall has missed some games this month due to pain in his left heel. He did not participate in shootaround or the Washington Wizards’ game on Friday due to it, and he went to see a specialist on Saturday. According to The Washington Post’s Candace Buckner, Wall is considering season-ending surgery that would keep him out 6-8 months.

The 28-year-old is averaging 20.7 points, 8.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game this season. His Wizards have been a major disappointment, going 13-23. Wall has lashed out at his head coach, leading to discipline, and he’s faced accusations of partying too much during the rough year.
Having surgery now might be the best strategy for Wall amid a lost season for the Wizards, that way he can be close to ready for the start of training camp next season.
