Jordan Bell learned a tough but valuable lesson during his rookie season, and it had nothing to do with basketball.
The Golden State Warriors rookie shared a photo on his Instagram account in September that was taken from the balcony of his apartment. The view from the balcony tipped off to his followers where he lived, and he developed a stalker as a result.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Bell ended up moving because of the stalker.
Bell shared a video on his Instagram account another time after moving, but that could have had the unintended effect of revealing his neighborhood. He decided to take that down.
The 23-year-old averaged 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game during the regular season. He hasn’t seen as much playing time in the postseason, but he did score 10 points in 12 minutes in the Warriors’ Game 3 win over the Cavaliers in the Finals. And we know that plenty of figures in the sports world can relate to his stalker experience.
