Jordan Poole, Draymond Green taunt each other during Wizards-Warriors game
Jordan Poole and Draymond Green still don’t care for each other very much.
The two ex-teammates were involved in a notable incident during Monday’s game between the Washington Wizards and the Golden State Warriors. Near the end of the second quarter, the Wizards guard Poole hit a deep three-pointer over Green’s contest and proceeded to dramatically point at Green. Green then returned the favor by pointing back at Poole when Steph Curry responded with a three of his own on the very next possession.
Check out the video.

The image of Green taunting Poole over something that Curry did instead is definitely some high comedy. But there is obviously plenty of history here between Green and Poole.
The two were teammates in Golden State from 2019-23 and won an NBA championship together in 2022. But it all soured very quickly when Green infamously punched Poole during a Warriors practice before the 2022-23 season (video here). Even Warriors owner Joe Lacob later later confirmed that the relationship between Green and Poole never recovered, and Poole was ultimately traded to the Wizards in 2023.
Ever since going their separate ways, Green and Poole have continued to take some petty swipes at one another. With that in mind, it is no wonder that they got into it on Monday during their first matchup of 2024-25.
