Watch: Kawhi Leonard had hilarious answer to reporter’s question

Kawhi Leonard

Ask Kawhi Leonard a question and you may get a very literal reply. That’s exactly what happened on Friday night.

Leonard was asked after his Toronto Raptors’ 22-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals where his team goes from here. The reporter obviously meant the question in the sense of how do the Raptors regroup and prepare for the remainder of the series. But because the question was not very specific, Leonard gave a literal, funny answer.

“Where do you go from here?”

Hilarious. And you could tell Leonard almost broke into his trademark laugh after he gave it.

The Raptors blew a big opportunity when they lost Game 1 of the series. Milwaukee had a poor shooting night and Toronto led for much of the game. Losing it was costly because they need to take advantage of bad games by the Bucks, and they didn’t. When the Bucks are playing better as they did by shooting 46.7 percent as a team in Game 2, the result was a bigger blowout.

Jokes aside, Leonard’s answer is what you want to hear. The best way to regroup is by putting the results of the first two games aside and coming out fresh and hungry in Game 3, which will be in Toronto on Sunday.
