Kelly Olynyk jokes about Isaiah Thomas’ tooth

Isaiah Thomas’s teammates couldn’t help but offer some commentary regarding his tooth situation Sunday.

Thomas lost a front tooth in the first quarter of Sunday’s win over the Washington Wizards, and though the tooth was ultimately put back into place, there was a brief period where a toothless Thomas led Boston’s charge.

Teammate Kelly Olynyk admitted that it was definitely somewhat distracting.

“I couldn’t even take him serious when he was talking to me,” Olynyk said, via ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

Thomas probably shrugged off stuff like this. After all, he was so cool about losing the tooth in the first place. A few smirks and comments of this nature weren’t going to bother him, and it showed — he delivered 33 points and nine assists in the victory.
