Kristaps Porzingis shared a photo on Instagram Tuesday that should be a welcomed site for New York Knicks fans.
The photo shared by Porzingis shows him appearing to walk without crutches. His left knee is in a brace in the photo:
Porzingis underwent surgery on his left knee two and a half weeks ago to repair a torn ACL. No recovery timetable has been provided by the Knicks yet, but based on the typical recovery time from a torn ACL, it would be unlikely for Porzingis to return before 2019.
Porzingis was averaging 22.9 points and 2.4 blocks per game prior to his injury. He also had been named to his first career All-Star Game.
