Kyrie Irving finally addressed the matter going on with him and former girlfriend Kehlani via Twitter Wednesday.
Irving sent four tweets talking about the situation, and one of the notable takeaways was him saying the two were not together when the infamous photo was taken.
It's been hard to see what's been going on and not address the truth. I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all

Of this non sense that could have been avoided, but Me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out.

Irving posted something on Instagram a few weeks ago of him and Kehlani together. If the two were not dating when the picture came out Monday (see it here), that may mean she and the Cavs guard had broken up within the last two weeks. That would mean also Kehlani was not cheating on him when music artist Party Next Door posted a photo on Instagram of him together with the singer.
It's unfortunate that it's received so much attention but its become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood.

Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family. My only focus the Game I love to play every night.

Kehlani is having a tough time with all of the negative attention and deleted her Instagram account shortly after Party Next Door posted the photo. She also has been on a hold after attempting suicide.
